Ving Tsun
Ving Tsun is a concept-based martial art focusing on the center-line and sensitivity. This enables, among other things, effective combat in close-quarters environments. It's also unique among Chinese martial arts in that it has so few "forms". This panel will go through two of the three open-hand forms that ving tsun defines, which covers 90% of the hand art techniques you'll find in the ving tsun system: siu nim tao and chum kiu.

Telling a New Story
We've all seen the slice-of-life college romance, the medieval quest fantasy, and the anime-inspired action story. But furry fiction is growing out as well as up. What are the new types of stories being told now, and how can we use the furry aesthetic to explore modern themes?

A Side Order of Murder
Gerry's Diner is an iconic diner off of Route 101. This diner was packed on a stormy night and everything was as calm as you could expect with such a crowd, as Adam Bun brought his wife for their anniversary. That was until disaster stuck; the roadways flooded and there was no way for the customers to leave the diner. The lights went out and there was a gunshot and a scream, and when the lights came back on, Adam Bun was dead and Bonnie Bun was grieving. Only four of the customers are detectives, the rest are suspects, and one of them is a murderer. You know the murderer will strike again, but when? Almost like Dinner Theater, where the audience play as the characters. WARNING: MILD CRUDE HUMOR
Kerbal Space Program
More parts, more bolts, MORE questionable places! Last year, we launched upside down, fired off a literal star ship, and attempted to destroy the world. This year? Come down, find out, and see if we can get the throttle oriented right this time!
WORLD REBUILDING
Humans have become extinct leaving their tools and technology and us, their genetically engineered intelligent half human/half animal hybrids, behind. As the ones remaining we've got to rebuild society. How would we go about doing this? What technology would we adapt to suit our needs and how? What habits and folkways would we adopt? Join us in a lively round table discussion on how we'll go about doing this.

Take it from Chu, who's been making webcomics for over a decade, and won 4 Ursa Major Awards and an MFA in cartooning along the way. In addition, Dana Simpson, our Guest of Honor and the force behind Ozy and Millie, Phoebe and Her Unicorn (a.k.a. Heavenly Nostrils), Raine Dog, I Drew This, and winner of the Comic Strip Superstar contest in 2009, will be creating a new comic strip while you watch (to be sold in the Charity Auction)!
Exotic Materials, Special Techniques
This panel is for intermediate and advanced builders-- but anyone who has made a costume will get something out of this talk. I will bring samples of NFT, Wonderflex, a variety of specialty foams and other materials that can help you take your craft to another level. I'll have samples to give out, resource sheets and other goodies to blatantly bribe people into filling the room.
